Looking to help out with the Thame Carnival?
Contact [email protected] if you can help with any of these :
Anyone who would love to be involved in the planning, organising and delivering of this fantastic community event, there is plenty to do of various roles and responsibilities – give as much or as little time as you wish.
We will need 30 marshalls to help with ensuring the safety of the public during the parade. If you can help on the day for this 2 hour period please contact us.
We also still need someone who will send the parade on its way. The job involves setting out stakes in Elms Park to show where each of the float participants should meet up. Then at 12 noon usher the Elms Park floats out of Elms Park and merge into the vehicular floats coming from Station Yard. The order of the parade is already pre-arranged.
This year the Thame Carnival is focused on our lovely market town – Thame itself.
What do you love about our town? Whats the best thing? Is it your school, company or community service? Is it our community as a whole? We can’t wait to see how you feel about our town in our parade.
